I totally get that when girls have little girls that they want them to have hair.  Hell, I know I would!! But if your little girl hair is not long enough to fit in a ponytail, please don't force it into one! It actually starts the breakage process that us Black women fit so much throughout life.  Embrace the Afro!! It is okay.  Find some cute bonnets and hats, if necessary.  Please don't have your little girl walking around with knockers and barretts, when really...its not needed!! RAVEN'S RULES FOR SOCIETY!!!

Life is so complicated. There are many laws, rules, and orders that one feels compelled to adhere to.  What is the real difference between right and wrong? It varies, I suppose.  What is right now…in this moment, may be wrong …in this same moment, but in another location. It’s all very confusing!! Makes things really difficult.    I am not a religious person, but sometimes I wish I was.  That way, it would be prescribed to me: whats right versus wrong? Then I could just move forward with the law of my religion. In reality, there are a lot of things that shape my perspective on life.  I have my family, education, society, friends, etc.  Somewhere in the midst of those aspects, I have self! When do we recover our true self? The self that formulates our thoughts and opinions, which later turns to decisions!  I read, well should I say scanned a piece my mother sent to me.  She understands that I am going through a difficult time....

Yep, we all need them! Sometimes its not clear to us, what are priorities are...so its very important to take a step back and reflect on how we are prioritizing!! Let's all make sure that we are putting what's MOST IMPORTANT in our lives first!!

I am so annoyed with these fake eyelashes (well the one's with the heavy glue I should say). All I am asking, is that you do an eyelash check. If your eyelashes look like the lady above, or when you close your eyes...they look like a solid black strip...uhh, they don't look good!! Please fix them!

I challenge you to make at least ONE lifestyle change to reduce your carbon footprint. Here are some ideas: No more bottled waters (purchase a container that you can use to refill) Thrift store shopping Bring your bags with you shopping Purchase a Hybrid (for you ballers!) Turn off lights not being used (use energy efficient light bulbs)

Strive hard to get a Designated Driver... and No TEXTING and Driving

I know its hot outside...wearing less: OHH I am all about that!! But please let your skin BREATHE!! Wearing clothes that does not cling to your skin is so much more attractive then the tight, cutting off your booty shorts!!
