I don't know who coined the term, but I f*cking love it!! Hood Stars! Let me take a moment to give my definition of a hood star... Hood Star (as defined by Raven): is an individual in a low-income community, typically referred to as the ghetto, who survives by illegal activities i.e. selling drugs, prostituting, "hiting licks". This person then becomes respected by their peers and the more money they make, the more fans they have...in the hood. So therefore, they become a hood star!! Everyday I come home from a long day of work, I run into hood stars. Most are very friendly and a little charming; however, their ego is something ridiculous. Their stardom has gone to their head and they figure they can have any cute thing walking in the hood. I had one hood star tell me "You are going to regret not talking to me"...I was like "wow". Mind you, that this is a youngsta, first and foremost, and he is posted on the same block everyday. What am I going to reg...
